The Youth wing of Nigeria Inter Religious Council, NIREC wants the Federal Government to investigate all allegations of brutality and injustice perpetrated by the defucnt special anti robbery squad as well as paying adequate compensation to the victims.
National President, National Council of Muslim Youth Organisations, NACOMYO Mallam Sani Suleiman stated this while briefing news men in Abuja.
Mallam Sani Suleiman who expressed concern over hijack of the peaceful youth prrotest across the Country by hoodlums appealed to the youths to exercise patience and allow strategic engagement and responses from Government to their demands.
He emphasized the need for the youths to embrace dialogue while authorities should be fair and transparent in dealing with the demands.
Mallam Sani Suleiman said that the youth wing of NIREC had commenced national engagement with traditional and religious leaders as well as relevant youth organizations on the importance of peaceful coexistence at the grass roots for national development.
The conference was attended by the youth wing of CAN and other youth organizations across the Country.
