WAFU CAFCL Qualifier: Rivers Angels Storm Cote D’ivoire

Nigeria’s representative for the maiden edition of the Women CAF champions league qualifiers, Rivers Angels has arrived Cote d’ivoire, for the competition.

Rivers Angels qualified to represent Nigeria after it emerged champion of the Super 6 playoff held at Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode.

The team has been in camp getting ready for the competition that will produce 2 teams to represent the region in Egypt.

It was placed in group B alongside Hassacass Ladies of Ghana and AS Police of Niger Republic.

Six teams will compete for 2 slots available for WAFU B region in inaugural edition of the women CAF champions league.
