Vigilante Kill 3, Apprehend Other Members Of A Gang Operating Along Kogi & Niger States

A vicious kidnapping gang, which operates along the Niger and Kogi environment, especially within the enclaves of the Ottoyi Forest have again been over powered and its members apprehended by the Kogi Local Vigilante.

Three of the kidnappers were killed during a gun duel between the gallant vigilantes and the criminal elements yesterday afternoon.

Speaking on the feat, the Chief Press Secretary to the state governor, Muhammed Onogwu noted that the state’s security architecture has continued to stand the test of time by recording successes against several intricacies by criminal elements.

He noted that the continued efforts of the Kogi State Government to keep the momentum as the safest state in the country was so far yielding good results, noting that the governor has severally made commitments to securing the lives and property of the citizens by making the state a no go zone for criminal elements.

Onogwu attributed the successes in the fight against criminalities as the product of synergy amongst all the security operatives as well as those in the rural areas, whom he said the administration had empowered and motivated.

The governor’s media aide asserted that Gov Bello would not relent in ensuring that security operatives at all levels were adequately empowered to facilitate a safe Kogi state and the delivery of the dividends of democracy.
