Special Adviser To Kwara Gov Resigns

The former Special Adviser to the Kwara State Governor on Health Matters, Prof. Wale Sulyman has pledged his commitment to the efforts and aspirations of Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s administration to emancipate Kwarans in spite of his Resignation.

A statement signed by him in Ilorin commends the Governor for the opportunity to set in motion a roadmap for better healthcare in Kwara state.

“I have developed policy documents and strategies for the Government which will position Kwara as one of the States in Nigeria with better healthcare if fully executed.

“I have resigned my position as Special Adviser on Health Matters to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State after serving for one year.

According to the statement professor Sulyman expresses gratitude to God and the Governor for the opportunity to serve the people of Kwara State.

“I am grateful to God for all His blessings and elevations in my personal life as a father and husband, and taking me to the peak of my profession as a Neurosurgeon, Physician, Executive and Academician, I pray that I am able to repay as an expression of my profound gratitude for His blessings”

“My passion in life is to create opportunities where there are none and to give hope to the underprivileged using my skills, expertise, and professional network, I had hoped that I could accomplish these same goals as a Public Servant, but came to the realization that I will be more effective and productive out of Government”.

I will continue to support the much-needed change and transformation in Kwara State through philanthropic efforts, economic and social empowerment, as well as the promotion of investment opportunities and partnerships with Kwarans in Diaspora.

“I thank my most supportive and loyal family- my wife Patricia, my daughter Zaynab and 2 sons Rahim and Najeeb. God bless Kwara state and Nigeria.”
