Sen Yarima Seeks Support Of Traditional, Religious Leaders To End Insecurity

Poverty and Illiteracy have been described as major causes of the nation’s security challenges.

The Former Governor of Zamfara State, Alhaji Ahmed Yarima, stated this while briefing newsmen in Abuja.

According to the former Governor, traditional and religious leaders have a role to play in curbing insecurity.

Alhaji Yarima advised government at all levels to come up with more robust economic policies and strategic models to fast track development, job creation and reduce crimes in the society.

The Former Governor of Zamfara State explained that the present administration was determined to address insecurity through the procurement of more equipment.

Alhaji Yarima maintained that democracy was the only way the nation can experience rapid development to be at par with other nations of the world.

He therefore stressed the need for INEC To Embrace Electronic Voting To Check anomalies in the electoral process and deepen Democracy.
