The Senator representing the Federal Capital Territory at the National Assembly, Philip Aduda has distanced himself from the EndSARS protests that turned violent in the territory.
Senator Aduda made this known while answering questions from journalists in Abuja.
He noted that youths in the FCT have the right to protest but within the context of the law.
Aduda expressed shock over a picture being circulated on social media, where he was being portrayed as supporting one of the youths who claimed to be the spokesperson for Abuja Natives.
The Senator warned the youths not to cause trouble under the guise of EndSARS protests in Abuja.
He therefore advised them to give peace a chance stressing that without peace nothing meaningful would be achieved.
