Some students in the Federal Capital Territory have tasked the media to do more in enlightening the public on the true state of the COVID-19 Pandemic in the country to guide stakeholders on shool resumption.
The students who made the suggestion while speaking with Radio Nigeria, correspondent in Abuja, explained that the media as the fourth estate of the realm was in a better position to set the agenda that would guide both government and parents on best options to adopt towards reopening of schools in the country.
One of the students, Miss Chidinma Osoaku, of the Federal Government Girls College Abaji, appealed to government at all levels to make necessary provisions that would hasten the processes of reopening of schools.
Another Student, Master Tochukwu Chinkata, from a private school in Abuja, appealed to school Administrators to put in place all necessary measures to hasten the processes for Resumption of schools.
The students who expressed their earnest desire to go back to school urged all stakeholders to work towards a harmonious approach for resumption of academic activities in the country.
