RCCG Solicits More Prayers Amid Challenges In Nig

The Redeemed Christain Church of God RCCG has called on Nigerians not to allow the present security and economic situation in the country dampen their morale in praying and contributing to Nation building.

The Regional Coordinator of the Redeemer’s Men Fellowship Pastor Paul Adebisi made the call during the annual men conference of the church in Abuja.

Pastor Adebisi said the state of insecurity should be regarded as one of the hurdles that could be surmounted if Nigerians irrespective of their religious affiliations come together and pray for Divine intervention.

He urged the Federal Government and Security Agencies to redouble efforts and ensure the Safety of all Nigerians.

In a presentation on Security, Deacon Niyi Oni maintained that inadequate funding and non deployment of modern equipment contributed to the collapse of security network in the country.

He stressed the need for Nigerians to be more inquisitive about their environment and provide necessary information that could assist relevant authorities in tackling insecurity.

Also a former member of the house of Representatives Pastor Kehinde Agboola while acknowledging that Christains were not fully involved in politics appealed to eligible Nigerians to participate in the ongoing INEC Continuous Voter Registration to enable them elect credible leaders in future elections

In a remark, President North Region 10 of Redeemer’s Men Fellowship Pastor Michael Oluwole said the annual program was to re-awake men to their responsibilities to the society.

According to Pastor Michael Oluwole, the Church will continue to use empowerment and other initiatives to compliment Government’s efforts in addressing unemployment and other social vices in the country.

The Conference with the theme: “Give me this Mountain’ featured talks on Health, Politics, business, and security as well as special prayers for Divine intervention to the challenges in the country.
