Public Affairs Analysts Want Govt To Address Housing Deficit In FCT

Government at all levels have been urged to create viable policy framework, to address housing deficit in the Federal Capital Territory.

A Public Affairs Analyst, Mr. Isaac Ekanem, gave the advice while featuring on DayBreak Show a Kapital FM Current Affairs program, in Abuja.

Mr. Ekanem was of the opinion that government needed to come up with measures that would regulate housing polices especially in the FCT.

Another guest on the Programme, a public Affairs Analyst, Mr. Folayan Oluwole called on government to ensure that housing was affordable for the citizens.

On decongestion of urban centers, Mr. Oluwole, advised government to introduce more social investment programmes in rural areas to curtail rural- urban migration.

A caller, Mr. Eminence from Zuba , said there was need for strong legal framework to regulate housing polices.
