Public Affairs Analyst Sets Agenda For New Service Chiefs

A Public Affairs Analyst, Doctor Casmir Ifeanyi wants the newly appointed Service Chiefs to be more proactive in tackling the nation’s security challenges.

Speaking with newsmen in Abuja, Doctor Casmir Ifeanyi commended President Muhammadu Buhari for listening to the agitations of Nigerians through the appointment of the new Service Chiefs.

He advised them to hit the ground running by providing professional leadership needed to overcome banditry, armed killer herdsmen, boko haram, terrorism, kidnapping and other forms of insecurity confronting the country.

The Public Affairs Analyst also stressed the need for the Service Chiefs to adopt effective inter-agency collaboration towards improving the state of the nation’s security apparatus.

According to him, moves concerning security of lives and property of Nigerians must be devoid of politics for realization of the set objectives.

Doctor Ifeanyi emphasized the need for adequate welfare of officers and men in the warfront most especially in the Northern part of the country.

While expressing concern over loss of lives to insecurity over the years, Doctor Ifeanyi urged Nigerians to continue to support efforts aimed at ending insecurity in every part of the country.

He expressed the hope that with collective support of all, Nigeria will soon overcome her security challenges.
