Primate Anglican Communion Wants FG To Curb Abductions Of School Children

The Primate, Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion, Most Reverend Henry Ndukuba has called on the Federal Government to take proactive steps towards addressing abduction of school children and other criminal activities threatening National Peace and Unity.

In an address at the end of a 7 day annual Lenten program tagged ” The Way Of the Cross” in Abuja, Archbishop Ndukuba said Government must not allow the present situation get out of hand.

Archbishop Ndukuba noted that incessant kidnapping of school children portends great danger to the Education System.

He stressed the need for communities to support Government by providing useful information that could expose those perpetrating and sponsoring the evil act.

Speaking on this year’s program with the theme” The Power of His Resurrection” which Focused on Divine intervention in the challenges facing the Country, Archbishop Ndukuba emphasized that the Church would not allow the situation affect its social and religious responsibilities to the citizens.

The Anglican Primate expressed believe that with fervent prayers, support of Religious, Political and traditional leaders the country would overcome her challenges
