President Buhari Asks Youths To Stop Protest, Embrace Peace

President Muhammadu Buhari has appealed to protesters to stop their protest and take advantage of the welfare packages of his administration to make their life meaningful.
The President made the appeal in a National broadcast on the current protest across the country.
He said no administration in history had done more than the current administration in providing poverty alleviation programmes towards enhancing the welfare of the citizens.
President Buhari who Maintained that protest was a fundamental human right said Protesters must also respect the rights of others.
He warned those who had hijacked the EndSARS protest to unleash violence to stop.
President Buhari said that the administration would not tolerate lawlessness and directed that security agencies should do all that was required within the law to maintain law and order.
The President maintained that Government’s commitment was also demonstrated in the approval of the five point agenda of the EndSARS, protesters.
The President commended the concerns of the International Community on the situation and appealed to them not to be hasty in their decision and conclusion on the situation.
