The Director General of the Progressives Governors Forum, PGF Alhaji Salihu Lukman says addressing the nation’s security challenges requires the cooperation of all Nigerians.

This is contained in a statement issued by the Director General in Abuja.

According to the statement, all hands must be on deck irrespective of ethnic and religious inclinations, especially from community and religious leaders to check the menace.

The statement believes that the Government of Ondo State took a step in the right direction in ensuring that its Forest Reserves were no longer hideouts for kidnappers, bandits and other criminals.

It therefore cautions all those condemning Governor Rotimi Akeredolu for the move to secure his State against any form of crime by ordering herdsmen to vacate the Forest Reserves and end night grazing within seven days to desist from the act.

The statement notes that the APC cannot support any crime in States controlled by the party or the opposition but will always stand on the nation’s constitution for peace, progress and development.
