The Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission, NCPC Reverend Yakubu Pam has solicited the support of Christian Religious Institutions for a successful pilgrimage this year.
He made the appeal in Abuja while receiving in audience the leadership of the FCT Chapter of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN.
Rev Yakubu Pam said the Commission was planning a well organized pilgrimage to Israel this year with the assistance of stakeholders.
According to The NCPC boss, there will be need to have knowledgeable instructors from the Pentecostal body to provide leadership at different Holy Sites during the pilgrimage.
He expressed his desire to ensure that those who go on pilgrimage come back with a transformed mind and should be able to impact on the lives of others.
The NCPC helmsman commended the contributions of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria towards the spiritual growth of Christians and national development.
Earlier, the Chairman of PFN FCT chapter, Reverend Isaac Komolafe While describing PFN as a strong and well structured body in the Territory promised support for the Executive Secretary to succeed in his new national assignment.
The Chairman further promised to collaborate with NCPC to develop the spiritual content of pilgrimage and tap from the Agricultural expertise of Israel through the NCPC Youths pilgrimage programme.
