PDP Caucus, Plateau Assembly Denies Passing Vote Of Confidence On Gov Laling

Members of the People’s Democratic Party in the Plateau State House of Assembly say they were not part of the Stakeholders meeting that passed a vote of confidence on Governor Simon Lalong .

Addressing journalists in Jos, some of the members led by Daniel Nanbol- Listick said the pronouncement on Vote of confidence on the Governor was during a stakeholders meeting of the All Progressives Congress at the Yakubu Gowon Hall of the Government House and does not have any effect on the PDP Caucus of the house.

Listick noted that there are legislative procedures for passing a vote of confidence which he said was not followed.

He said as Democrats, the PDP is glad that the APC has resolved their political crisis, which he said has diverted Government”s attention towards bringing expected development to Plateau State.

The member called on the State Government to continuously implement resolutions and enforce relevant laws passed by Plataeau State House of Assembly geared towards permanent peace in Plateau State.

The Party Condenmed attacks targeted against Innocent people irrespective of ethnic and religious difrences.
