Over 500 Students Benefit From Back To Sch Initiative Of Wife Of Kogi Gov

Wife of Kogi State Governor, Mrs Rashidat Bello has distributed Over 500 school bags containing books and Mathematical sets to some students in the State as part of her Back To School Initiative .

She made the distribution when she visited some schools across the Central Senatorial district of the State in continuation of her Back To School Initiative.

The Wife of the Governor who said Government would continue to provide the enabling environment for proper teaching and learning, advised the students not to derail in their educational pursuits.

Mrs Bello enjoined the students to be of good behaviour, focus on their studies and not give in to peer pressure to become good leaders.

“I therefore urge you to be of best behaviour. Place priority on your education, help your parents after school, and avoid all social vices.” She stated.

While stressing that education remained the panacea for development, she encouraged parents and teachers not to relent in their responsibility of instilling discipline and knowledge in the students to prepare them for future endeavours.

Headmaster of LGEA Primary School, Rahama in Okehi Local Government Area, Mr Momoh Sabi Jimoh appreciated the gesture noting that the educational materials provided would contribute immensely to promoting learning.

He however sought for support in the areas of school furniture and potable water supply.

The schools visited are LGEA Rahama, Okehi; LGEA Ohuepe, Okehi, LGEA Idoma, RCM Primary School, FSP Model College in Okene LGA.
