OPEC Condemns Terror Attacks In Vienna

The Organization Of Petroleum Exporting Countries, OPEC has extended the solidarity of all member States with Austria after terror attacks in Vienna the Austrian capital.

The OPEC Secretary, Mr Sanusi Barkindo said it was shocked and saddened after receiving news of the horrific incident that took place in the heart of Vienna.

While extending OPEC’s heartfelt sympathy and condolences to all those affected, the Organization offered prayers to victims of the attack and wished those injured a speedy recovery.

Mr Barkindo also expressed OPEC’s strongest condemnation of these and all other terrorist attacks aimed at taking human life and creating chaos.

He stressed that Indiscriminate acts of violence and hate can never be justified or tolerated emphasizing the need to be united when confronted by such actions.

The Austrian capital, Vienna had hosted the OPEC secretariat for 55 years.
