The candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Mr Eyitayo Jegede has expressed disatisfaction over the malfunction of the card reader machine at the point of accrediting him for voting in polling unit 09, Sacred Heart Primary School, Akure.
Mr Jegede made his feelings known while addressing news men after casting his vote in Akure, the State Capital.
The PDP candidate who could not hide his displeasure over what he described as a major shortcoming of INEC in the gubernatorial election charged the commission to always do the needful while preparing for a major assignments like the Governorship election.
Counting of votes cast is in progress and security personnel maintaining peace and orderliness at the polling booths visited so far by correspondent Kayode Oyedare
According to the situation report at the two polling units within the premises of sacred heart primary school, Akure, people living with disabilities turned out in their numbers to exercise their civic rights during the voting process.
