NYCN To Organize Summit To Address Nig’s Challenges

The Executive Secretary, Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission,, Reverend Yakubu Pam wants Nigerian Youths to avoid activities detrimental to peace, unity and national development.

Reverend Pam made the call during the visit of the leadership of the National Youth Council of Nigeria NYCN and the Coalition of Ethnic Youth Leaders of Nigeria, CEYLON in Abuja

While calling on youths not to allow unpatriotic citizens to use them to destabilise the Country, the NCPC Executive Secretary appealed to them to always embrace dialogue in resolving greviances.

He tasked them to champion the course of rebuilding a great nation devoid of crises and conflict.

The President, National Youth Council of Nigeria, Mr Sokubo Sara-Igbe said the visit was to intimate the NCPC Executive Secretary of the desire of the Council to organise a National Youth Peace Confab to brainstorm on ways to address challenges confronting Youths in the Country.

The NYCN President whose address was delivered by the President of the Afenifere Youth Wing, Mr Olufemi Lawson maintained that the Conference would enable youths at home and in the diaspora come together to chart a course aimed at strengthening Peace and Unity

Leadership of about fifteen different ethnic Youth organizations across the Country accompanied the National Youth Council President on the visit to the Nigeria Christain Pilgrim Commission headquarters Abuja.
