NIWA Boss Canvasses Support To Fight Insecurity

The Managing Director and Executive Officer of the Inland Waterways Authority, NIWA, Chief George Moghalu has expressed worry over the current security situation in the South East and the country stressing the need for collective efforts to curb it.

He made the call while addressing newsmen at the APC National Secretriat in Abuja after returning his expression of interest and nomination form to contest for the Anambra State governorship election.

Chief Moghalu solicited support of the private sector in assisting government to address unemployment to check youth restiveness and tackle insecurity.

Chief Moghalu who was the former national Auditor of the APC called on stakeholders of the party in the state to ensure the APC wins the Governorship election.

The APC Anambra state Governorship aspirant emphasized the need for the leadership positions of the state to be given to experienced people with integrity to take the state to greater heights.
