Nig Sneaks Into Quaterfinals Of 24th Africa Women Handball Nations Cup

Secretary General of the Handball Federstion of Nigeris (HFN) Moh’d Maigidansama⁩ has confirmed Nigeria’s qualification, for the quarterfinals of the 24th Africa Senior Women Handball Cup of Nations.

Having lost to DR Congo and hosts Cameroun, Nigeria on Saturday defeated Kenya 26-21 to qualify from Group B as one of the best 2 teams to place 3rd.

The other team to qualify as 3rd best team is Guinea Conakry, which qualified from Group A, behind Tunisia and Senegal

However, only two teams, defending Champions Angola & Congo Brazzaville made it out from Group C, to complete the Quarterfinal pairings.

Meanwhile, all four quarterfinal winners will in addition to advañcing to the Semifinals, qualify automatically for the International Handball Federstion World Cup, to be staged in Spain.
