NGO Wants Women & Youths To Be Involved In Governance

The Convener of an initiative, Specific Harmonized Ideas for Transformation, Mr Samuel Jatau wants Youths and women to be inclusive in leadership programmes across the Country.

Mr Jatau, who stated this at the launch of the Program in Jos, noted that women and youths have excelled in various fields of human endeavor and needed to be given more opportunities in Governance.

He described women and Youths as marginalized hence the need to build them in competence, character and capacity.

Jatau called for a moral rebirth where people would accept that leadership is about service and not a means of livelihood. 

Chairman of the occasion and former Secretary to the Government of Plateau State Professor Shedrach Best called for empowerment of Women and youths , which he believed  would change the society positively.

Professor Best further called for leadership, driven by principles of good Governance.
