The federal government has been called upon to address the inhumane treatment on Nigerians by foreign companies and industries domiciled in the country.
The President of a non governmental organisation, Pan African United Youth Development Network, Mr Habib Mohammed made the call while speaking with newsmen in Abuja.
Mr Mohammed who explained that recent assessment tour of a ceramic company in Kogi state and other foreign companies showed that most Nigerians especially youths were subjected to unfair treatment, poor welfare and unconducive working environment called for sanction from the National Assembly and other agencies to bring an end to the issue.
The President of the organisation urged other African countries to stand up for the rights of the youths working in companies in the African continent to ensure that they were treated based on international standards.
Mr Mohammed who pointed out that petitions had been written to relevant agencies, advised Nigerians to always speak out.
