The North East Research Development Consultative Forum has expressed concern over increasing activities of insurgency in the region.
National President of the Forum, Dr AbubaKar Kagu who made this known while addressing newsmen in Abuja called on International partners, Federal and State Governments as well as well meaning Nigerians to work collectively towards bringing the menace ravaging the region to an end.
Dr Kagu said the Forum had embarked on collation of Data of towns and villages badly affected by the activities of insurgency iwith the aim of having a reliable information that would guide stakeholders in development of the region.
According to him, the Data will also assist government in the protection, recovery and rebuilding of the Northern States.
Dr Kagu however appealed to leaders in the region to speak with one voice and make clear demands on what would fastrack peace and development.
