The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission, NERC says it will collaborate with International stakeholders and experts in the power sector towards solving the challenges in the sector.
The Chairman of NERC, Professor James Momoh stated this in Abuja after a virtual induction as member, National Academy of Engineering, NAE, USA.
Professor Momoh said his induction had bestowed on him higher responsibility to think deep and seek further collaborations with experts from around the world to improve access to electricity.
The NERC Chairman who explained that about six hundred were nominated out of which one hundred made the final list including him, highlighted that he had carried out some research in science engineering mathematics that helped different sectors in the country and the global community.
Professor Momoh expressed optimism that innovations by NERC would solve the challenges in the power sector.
