The Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission, NCPC, Rev. Yakubu Pam has tasked church leaders to encourage the sponsorship of Christians to the Holy Land.
He made the call in Abuja while playing host to the leadership of the Methodist Arch Diocese of Abuja who paid him a visit in his office.
He stressed the need for synergy between NCPC and the Methodist church.
Rev. Pam also emphasized the need to make Nigeria the first country to take the highest number of pilgrims to Israel on Holy Pilgrimage.
The NCPC helmsman explained that while in Israel the Bible comes alive because pilgrims would feel the touch of God.
He intimated his guest that the Commission’s plans to introduce the Pilgrims Saving Scheme to enable intending pilgrims save for the Holy pilgrimage.
Earlier the Archbishop of the Methodist Arch Diocese of Abuja, Most Reverend. Joseph Oche- Job told the NCPC boss that he was at the Commission to congratulate him on his well-deserved appointment.
