NCM Calls For Compensation For Victims Of Shasha Market Violence

The Northern Consensus Movement, NCM, has called on both the Federal and State Governments to pay compensation to the victims and families of northerners who lost their lives and property during the #EndSARS protest, Akinyele Shasha Market violence in Oyo State and the IPOB crisis.

The President of NCM, Comrade Awwal Aliyu made the call while speaking with newsmen in Abuja.

Comrade Aliyu who expressed concern over spate of killings in the country called for measures to put an end to the urgly development.

While calling on countries of the world to respect Nigeria’s sovereignty, the President of NCM decried the illegal activities of the proscribed organization, IPOB most especially in South Eastern part of the country.

He alleged that the leader of IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu was responsible for some of the killings and placed a ransom of one hundred million naira as an offer to anyone who produces him alive, hale and hearty to the NCM for onward delivery to security agencies for prosecution.

Comrade Aliyu therefore appealed to the US, German and British Governments to facilitate the repatriation of Nnamdi Kanu to face terrorism charges.

He said the Organization was committed to continuous corporate existence of the country.

Comrade Aliyu stressed the need for Nigerians irrespective of religion, tribe and political differences to remain united for the growth of the country.
