NAWOJ FCT Wants Women To Step Up Precautionary Measures Against COVID-19

The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ FCT Chapter, wants Women and older persons to take precautionary measures against COVID 19 seriously during the festive season.

This is contained In a statement signed by the Chairperson, Anna Daniels and Secretary, Nkiru Nnoli Okeke in Abuja.

The Statement says taking adequate steps to guard against the disease became necessary following the upsurge of the Second Wave in the Country.

The Statement stresses the need for women to take responsibility in protecting their children, wards, families and friends by ensuring that they adhere strictly to all health protocols.

The Statement which identifies Lagos, Kaduna and FCT as epicenter of the Virus calls on Nigerians to shun every form of violence and embrace peace in this festive season of love,while praying that the reason for the season which is about the coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ brings an end to all the Challenges being faced in the Country.

The Statement also wishes all Nigerians a merry Christmas and a Prosperous New year.
