Youths in the Country have been cautioned against criminal activities.
The Commander, Nigeria Navy Ship Lugard, Lokoja, Commodore Clement Atebi gave the warning at the handing over of two suspected crude oil vandals to the Kogi State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, in Lokoja.
Commodore Atebi said the suspects were arrested on the thirtieth of last month with three hundred and four bags of crude oil and black oil concealed in polythene bags by men of his command.
Speaking at the occasion, Kogi State Commandant of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, Commandant Peter Maigari said the arrest was made possible with collaboration of other security agencies in the State in view of the mandate from Government to rid the State of criminal elements.
Commandant Maigari said the case would be investigated and the suspects charged to court as soon as possible.
In an interview, the suspects Adamu Mohammed, aged twenty five from Idah in Kogi State and Prince Kelechi Emesin from Anambra State said they were contacted by one Dansabe now on the run to bring the products from Rivers State to Kogi State.
