The National Task Force on Importation of Illegal Arms, Ammunition, Chemicals and Weapons, NATFORCE says it has identified some black spots and criminal hide outs in the FCT and neighbouring state of Nasarawa.

National Commander Special Squad of the Force, Mr Aliyu Aminu-Wayas who stated this while speaking with newsmen in Abuja said the organisation through intelligence had been working in those areas to support efforts at addressing security challenges in the North Central Region.

The Commander maintained that the organisation was ready to work with other Security Agencies to raid the criminal hide out and exposé those behind the act.

Mr Aminu-Wayas maintained that no amount of threat would stop the organisation from carrying out its responsibilities of ensuring the safety of lives and property across the country.

According to him, a special operation will commence across the country whereby some Youths would be trained on community security and intelligence gathering

He however solicited the support of the Federal Government and the National Assembly for the organisation by passing the Task Force Bill which has passed the second reading in the Senate.

He urged members of the NATFORCE to remain focused and disregard any change of leadership rumour which was intended to dampen the morale of the personnel.
