Nassarawa State Traders & Maketers Association Laments Over Spate Of Insecurity

Nasarawa State Traders and Marketers Association has expressed concern over the spate of insecurity in the State.

Acting President of the Association, Alhaji Turaki Gamji gave this indication during a media conference in Lafia.

Alhaji Turaki Gamji said the current state of insecurity in the state and the country at large called for proactive measures by Government towards addressing the situation before it degenerates.

He called on members of the Association to be security conscious at all times and join hands with security agencies to fish out bad elements among them.

Alhaji Turaki Gamji also explained that the current high cost of goods in markets was attributed to rise in the cost of production and transportation especially food items.

The media conference was convened to announce the dissolution of the Alhaji Shamasu Dantsoho led executive of the Association over alleged financial impropriety and abuse of office.
