Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule has condemned the murder of two leaders of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria in the State by unknown gunmen.
The Governor who expressed regret over the act promised to strengthen collaboration with security agencies to arrest and prosecute criminal elements disrupting the peace in the state.
Governor Abdullahi Sule stated this at the funeral of the State Chairman of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, Alhaji Mohammed Husseini in Garaku, Kokona Local Government Area.
He expressed sadness over the killings and cautioned against any reprisal attacks as security agencies have commenced investigation to ensure the people behind the killings are brought to Justice.
Nasarawa State Chairman of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria MACBAN, Alhaji Muhammad Husseini and his counterpart in Toto Local Government Area Alhaji Muhammad Umar were killed by unknown gunmen at Garaku Market in Kokona Local Government Area last Saturday.
