President Muhammadu Buhari has been urged to order a review of the the implementation process of the seven hundred and seventy four thousand public jobs scheme initiated by his administration.
The minority leader of the House of Representatives Ndudi Elumelu made the call in a statement he signed on behalf of the minority caucus and made available to newsmen in Abuja.
The caucus also demanded for more transparency in the criteria being used for the allotment of the jobs so as to ensure fairness to all
The lawmakers also noted that the 30 slots proposed for each member of the house of Representatives for their respective local government areas within their constituencies was inadequate, as they are the true Representatives of the people.
The caucus who lauded the initiative stressed
the need to protect the interest of the masses especially at the grassroots to ensure that the targeted citizens benefit from the program as intended by president Muhammadu Buhari.
