Lawmaker Describes Rumors Of Altering Electoral Bill 2021 As False

A Federal Law Maker representing Osun East Senatorial District, Senator Francis Fadahunsi, has advocated electronic transmission of election results to promote credibility and check Thuggery during elections.

Senator Fadahunsi who made the call while marking his 69th birthday in Abuja, said speculations by Nigerians on the plan to disempower the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC, from transmitting results of elections electronically was false.

The Law Maker assured Nigerians that no section of the electoral Bill 2021 had be altered, as the National Assembly would ensure that the amended bill allows free, fair and credible polls.

Speaking on the activities of bandits and other crimes, Senator Fadahunsi advised that more jobs be created for youths, to check such crimes across the country.

In their different remarks, Some Senior Advocates of Nigeria, Mr Olaseinde Kumuyi, Mr Olutunde Kunle and Chief Adegboyega Awomoolo, described the Law Maker as a benefactor, mentor and father to the vulnerable in Nigeria.

On his part, President Voice of His Word Ministry, Pastor Bolaji Akinyemi, while expressing concern over the insecurity situation in the country, advised Senator Fadahunsi, who was the former Chairman Sub regional committee on security not to hesitate in profering solutions that would address the Nation’s security challenges.

Pastor Akinyemi encouraged the National Assembly to always enact laws that would promote peace, and unity in the Nigeria.

The event attracted dignitaries from his church, the Redeemed christian church of God and friends with good will messages.
