Lawmaker Condemns Uncomplimentary Comments Against Gov Ikpeazu

The National Assembly has been urged to expunge from the records of proceedings of the Senate plenary session of Tuesday twenty third February twenty twenty one the uncomplimentary comments made against His Excellency, Okezie Ikpeazu, Governor Of Abia State by Senator Smart Adeyemi.

Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency of Abia state, Nkole Ndukwe made the call while addressing newsmen in Abuja.

According to him, Senator Adeyemi’s outburst which was totally unparliamentary remains a deliberate insult not only on the Governor, and his family but also to the entire state.

Nkole further explained that the comments were baseless as no court of competent jusrisdiction has found the Governor guilty of all the accusations labeled against him by Senator Adeyemi.

Senator Smart Adeyemi representing Kogi West senatorial district had on the floor of the Senate described the Abia State Governor as a Champaign drinking drunkard.
