The Minority Whip of the House of Representatives Gideon Gwani has condemned the attacks on some Communities in Southern Kaduna.
Speaking to Journalists in Kaduna, Gwani described the attacks as man’s inhumanity to man and called on the Federal and Kaduna State Governments to assist in bringing the attacks to an end.
He however noted that if the attacks were not checked, it would affect the livelihood of the people which is farming and could lead to famine.
The Member who represents Kaura Federal constituency of Kaduna State expressed regret that the attacks left many dead and others displaced and homeless.
He however applauded the efforts of the Inspector General of Police in deploying 500 police men to the area, stressing that all those found wanting should be prosecuted.
Gwani also wants Government to check the influx of people with questionable character as well as the proliferation of weapons, which he said had become a security concern in the country
