Kogi partners Kwara on effective communication.

Kogi and Kwara state governments are to partner with promoting the activities of both governments in their respective states.

This is contained in a statement signed by the Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications Mr. Kingsley Femi Fanwo during a courtesy visit to his courterpart, Adenike Afolabi-Oshatimehin, in Ilorin.

It states that the Kwara State Ministry of Communications is critical to propagating the achievements of the present administration in the State, adding that he was in the State to share experiences with his Kwara State counterpart.
 
“I am here to see my sister and colleague. We have had conversations on how to improve our communication strategies and we both share the same vision.

“The Kwara State Government is doing a lot and we must let the public see what the Government is doing”

“In Kogi State, we have negotiated the bend and the world now sees what we do as a Government, Kwara must move towards that direction.

“These issues were at the front burner of our discussions at the recent Progressives Governors Forum Information Commissioners Meeting.

“Kwara and Kogi states are brothers and we have resolved to work together”.Fanwo added.

According to the statement the Kwara State Commissioner for Communications, Mrs Adenike Afolabi Oshatimehin thanked her Kogi State Counterpart for the visit, saying it is of mutual benefits to both states.

“The Ministry of Communications will continue to be at the forefront in projecting activities of the Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq led administration. Mrs Oshatimehin stated

“We are building up our capacity and strategies to change the narrative and correctly inform our people and Kwarans on what we are doing to better their lives.

“We are also looking at ICT as well as the Digital Economy. The Ministry will be central to the ICT development of Kwara State”.
