Kogi Monarch Inaugurates SDGs Project, Sues For Peace

The Ohimegye Igu Kotonkarfe, Alhaji Abdulrazaq Sani Isah Koto, has called on Sons and Daughters of Kogi Local Government Area to contribute generously towards development of the area.

The Monarch made the call when he inaugurated Six Blocks of Classrooms each at the Police Children School and Community Girls’ Secondary School in Kotonkarfe.

While stressing the importance of peace for rapid development the Ohimegye charged his subjects to be peaceful as no meaningful developement could take place without peace.

Special Adviser to Kogi State Governor on Sustainable Development Goals, Nasiru Isa Ohiani urged management of the two schools and the Community to protect and maintain the projects.

In a remark, Facilitator of the projects, Alhaji Hassan Shuaibu Ohimozi applauded office of the SDGs for timely completion of the projects and promised to do more for the Community.

In their remarks, Head Teacher, Police Children School and the Principal, Community Girls Secondary School lauded efforts of the SDGs for providing a conducive environment for students to learn particularly, the Girl Child.
