Kogi Lawmaker Condemns Looting Of Warehouses .

The member representing Ofu Constituency at the Kogi State House of Assembly, Seidu Ahmodu has condemned the Vandalism of government and private warehouses by hoodlums in the guise of EndSARS protest.

He stated this while condemning the action of some hoodlums who broke into his house destroying property worth millions of naira in lokoja.

He said it was unfortunate that hoodlums were taking advantage of the EndSARS protest to unleash mayhem in the state.

The lawmaker explained that President Muhammadu Buhari had done a lot for youths in the country through the introduction of various social intervention programmes as such they should trust him to address their demands.

He also said that Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has been focused and determined in ensuring youths take their pride of place in the State.

He said the Governor has been proactive in the area of securing lives and property as such no one should cause unrest in the state in the name of protest

Speaking on the looting of his house, the lawmaker said he has filed complaint at the police station and urged those who came to steal in the house to return the valuable items.

Mr Seidu Ahmodu who said the police remained strategic in securing the Country added that their role cannot be over-emphasized.
