The people of Kogi State have been urged to ignore the misinformation about the Covid 19 vaccination and avail themselves for the immunization.
The Chief Medical Director, Kogi State Teaching Hospital, Anyigba, Doctor Simon Akogu made the call in an interview with Radio Nigeria in Anyingba.

According to him, the vaccine is safe with little or no side effects as it was produced in accordance to global health standard and certified by the World Health Organisation, WHO.
He commended the effort of the State Government and the State Primary Health Care Development Agency for making the vaccines available to the people.

He said the pandemic was a global issue hence the ongoing vaccination to prevent further spread of the virus.
