Kogi Govt Reaffirms Commitment to Tackle Crimes

Kogi State Government has restated its commitment to tackle all forms of crimes across the State.

State Security Adviser, retired Commander Jerry Omodara stated this while addressing newsmen in Lokoja.

Commander Omodara said that security of lives and property remains the topmost priority of the Governor Yahaya Bello led administration hence his unwavering focus and attention on security matters.

According to him, recent security challenges are being addressed headlong as security agencies in Kogi State are on top of the situation.

He urged the people of the State to cooperate with security agencies and give relevant information that can lead to the arrest of criminal elements in the State.

The State Security Adviser also called on journalists to be professional in their reportage by placing national interest and security above personal gains as the nation’s unity remains sacrosanct.

Commander Omodara assured Muslims of adequate deployment of security personnel for a hitch free sallah celebration.
