Corporate Organisations and Non Governmental Organisations in Kogi State have been charged to support government’s initiative at providing adequate security for people of the State.
The State Security Adviser, Jerry Omodara made the call while speaking with Newsmen in Lokoja.
He said the call became imperative in view of the need to sustain the relative peace and security being enjoyed in the State.
According to him, the State continually reviewed its security strategies to accommodate changes to nip crises in the bud by being proactive.
He said his office equally engaged security personnels in constant interaction to adopt the use of intelligence gathering, local vigilantes, latest technology and equipment to combat crimes.
The Security Adviser urged men on the frontlines in all State borders and those at various flash points within the State to continue to carry out thier duties without compromise as thier welfare remained top priority of the State Government.
