Kogi Comm & Social Devt Agency Donates Reflective Jackets To Traffic Wardens, Okada Riders

In a bid to ensure effective traffic control, the General Manager, Kogi State Community and Social Development Agency, Mallam Momoh Dauda has presented reflective jackets to Traffic Wardens of the Nigerian Police as well as Motorcycle Riders Association in Lokoja,

He said the donation was to enhace their performance.

Mallam Dauda described the relative peace in the State to the strategies deployed by Government to ensure a peaceful environment.

He commended the administration of Governor Yahaya Bello for doing well in his support to the welfare of the Nigerian Police, urging them to continue with the good work.

The GM who said the agency had successfully intervened in the provision of some basic amenities to several Communities in the State, noted that the reflective jacket s would enable Traffic Wardens and Okada Riders to stay safe while performing their duties.

In a remark, the Kogi State Traffic Warden Officer, CSP Mrs Comfort Omole described the gesture by the KSCSDA as a motivator that would spur them to do more.

Mrs. Omole disclosed that the Nigerian Police in the State was enjoying a cordial working relations with the State Government, adding that it was such support that enabled men of the Police to have a renewed commitment to service after the Endsars protest.

Similarly, Mr. John Medupin, the Deputy Chairman, Okada Riders Association, said the gesture by KSCSDA came at the right time as the Yuletide was approaching and assured that members would make optimum use of the reflective jackets.
