KFM Staff To Benefit From BBC Media Training

The British Broadcasting Corporation Media Action, through the European Union Support to Democratic Governance in Nigeria is to train staff of Radio Nigeria Kapital FM on effective ways of engaging young Nigerians to develop interest in democracy and governance.

The Project Manager EU- SDGN project, MS Meyiwa Ede stated this when the team visited the General Manager Kapital FM Mallam Muhammad Attah Kafindangi in Abuja.

Ms Ede who explained that the BBC had been in partnership with Kapital FM on capacity building on implementation of various programmes, said there are over ten programmes outlined among which is the training for the EU-SDGN project targeted at the youths.

Responding, the General Manager Kapital FM, Mallam Muhammad Attah Kafindangi while commending the BBC team for the initiative, promised to mobilize staff and other logistics needed for the actualization of the project for the benefit of the staff and station at large.

The General Manager advised the team to adopt measures that would accommodate more members of staff in their training programmes.
