KFM Lean On Me Foundation Puts Smile On Faces Of Vulnerable Persons

The General Manager Kapital FM, Mallam Muhammed Attah Kafin-Dangi has called on corporate organizations and well meaning individuals to use their wealth to assist the needy in the society.

Mallam Attah Kafin-Dangi made the call in Abuja, while presenting monetary gifts from Kapital FM Lean on Me Foundation to some persons with health challenges.

He explained that Lean On Me Foundation was revived last year November for proper management of resources from individuals and groups and as part of the Corporate Social Responsibility of the organization to assist the needy through the foundation.

He appealed for more support from wealthy individuals and organisations to help meet the needs of the vulnerable.

On her part, the head of programmes Mrs Buki Towuro promised to ensure a transparency in managing resources donated.

The Presenter of Lean on Me Programme, Mr John Chukwura who said the programme faced some challenges especially with getting support to assist the needy, expressed appreciation to those who contributed.

The beneficiaries also expressed gratitude to Kapital FM and those who contributed.

The total sum of one hundred and eighty thousand naira was shared among the beneficiaries who are Aisha Abubakar with Kidney disease, Favour Agwu who was born without an anus, Enogela Alhaji a blind man who collected loan but lost the money in a fire incident and Gabriel Kolawale an infant with a hole in the heart.
