The Chief Judge of the Federal High Court of Nigeria, Justice John Tsoho says, the judiciary will leverage on technology to enhance easy dispensation of justice in the Country.
The Chief Judge made this known at the 2020/2021 legal year of Federal High Courts in Abuja.
Justice John Tsoho explained that the Judicial Information Technology Policy Committee, had been assigned the task of assisting the Federal and State Judiciaries to embrace the use of technology that meets international standard.
He added that the COVID-19 pandemic had taught the court not to take the use of legal technology for granted.
The Chief Judge who gave a brief report on the previous legal year, pledged committed towards improving infrastructure and human resource development.
The Federal Ministry of Justice and the Nigerian Bar Association noted that despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the judiciary had thrived in its responsibilities.
The event held under strict COVID-19 guidelines.
