IPMAN Partners Security Agencies In Fight Against Pipeline Vandalism

The National President of Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, IPMAN, Mr Chinedu Okoronkwo says the body will work collectively with Heads of Security Agencies to fight activities of pipeline vandalization in the country.

Mr Okoronkwo stated this when he led members of the team on a visit to Heads of security Agencies in Lokoja, Kogi State.

Mr Chinedu Okoronkwo who was represented by the National Security Adviser of IPMAN, Alhaji Ibrahim Haliru said their visit was in line with the directive of President Muhammadu Buhari to checkmate unwholesome activities in the oil and gas sector.

He also said that the visit would enable them work collectively with security Agencies and stakeholders on safety of the product in the Country.

The National President of IPMAN urged Nigerians to assist the Association by providing necessary information that would make their work easy for the betterment of the Country .

He said the team is determined to checkmate the activities of bunkerers and illegal refiners who allegedly supply  products to insurgents and bandits that are attacking the Country .

The National President of IPMAN noted that more programmes are on to boost the economy of the State and Nigeria at large.

The Chief Protocol Officer to IPMAN’s National Chairman, Mr Samson Okereke expressed appreciation to Heads of Security Agencies in the State for the assurance to partner with them in the fight against corruption in the oil and gas sector.

Also speaking, the State coordinator of IPMAN, Mr Abu Usman called on State Governments to support the Association in its efforts to do its job effectively.
