The Inter Party Advisory Council of Nigeria, IPAC, has called on the people of Ondo State to jealously guard their Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) which remains their power to effect the needed change in Ondo State.

This is contained a statement signed by the acting President of the Council, Chief Ralphs Okey Nwosu

The statement says the time has come for the great people of Ondo to bring to bear, their true political disposition in the Governorship election scheduled for 10th of October, 2020.

The Council encourages all people of Ondo State to turn out enmasse and vote for the Candidates of their choice.

“We want to state that the era of impunity in our electoral process has indeed come to an end and the people now have the right and power to truly elect their true representatives and Leaders” Chief Nwosu added

The Council urges INEC to conduct an unbiased, credible, free and fair election in the State considering the huge budget approved for the election.

The IPAC also appealed to Nigerians to endeavour to register for and obtain their permanent Voter’s card at all accredited offices of the Commission across the country as it remains the only way the right and competent persons can be voted into elective positions in Nigeria.

“We appeal to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to remain neutral and not erode the confidence of Nigerians in the scheduled elections”

IPAC commends the efforts of the Nigerian Police in the Edo election and requests that such professionalism be extended to the Ondo people in the scheduled Governorship election.
