The Inter Party Advisory Council of Nigeria, IPAC has inaugurated a 4-Man-Central Management Committee for transition from the 10th National Executive Council, which lapses next month.
In a statement issued by the outgoing President of the Council, Chief Peter Ameh, explains that the 4-Man Central Management Committee shall comprise of Chief Ralph Okey Nwosu of the African Democratic Congress, as Acting President, Alhaji Salam of the Labour Party as Acting Vice President.
Others are, Adekunle Rufai OmoAje of the Action Alliance as Acting Secretary General and Elder Chuks Achusi of APGA) as the Acting National Treasurer.
According to it, the Central Management Committee shall within the time prescribed, ensure the conduct of a free, fair and credible Executive Council Election at the National and State levels.
It shall also be responsible for the day to day running of the Council affairs for a period of four months and ensure an immediate and mandatory handover of administration to newly elected 11th National Executive Council leadership of the IPAC at the expiration of the four month period of engagement.
The statement adds that the committee shall ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements as well as the Code and as well, submit a comprehensive audited financial report of all transactions within the period under review to the newly elected National Executive Council.
