IPAC Calls For Conduct Of LG Election In Nassarawa

    The Inter- Party Advisory Council, IPAC Nasarawa State chapter, has called on the State Government to commence preparations for conduct of Local Government election in the State without further delay. 
     The State Chairman of IPAC Mr. Cletus Ogah made the call while briefing newsmen at the end of an emergency meeting held in Lafia.
     He said any attempt by the State Government to impose leadership on the third tier of Government in the State following expiration of tenure of Council Chairmen is tantamount to violating the law.
     The State Chairman of the IPAC equally called on the State Government to release funds to the State Independent Electoral Commission to allow timely preparations for conduct of the Local Government election.
     Mr. Cletus Ogah also commended the successes recorded by Governor Abdullahi Sule’s administration so far especially in the areas of health care delivery, rural roads construction, revamping the education sector and attracting investors  to the State.
